The filial piety of Ruth and Heavenly Children following Heavenly Mother.
Heavenly Father told us we have Heavenly Mother and He requested us to follow Heavenly Mother Just as Ruth followed Naomi, What is the spirit of faith that we must learn from Ruth’s filial piety?

Book of Ruth teach us the way to serve Heavenly Mother.
Ruth, a gentile woman, recorded in the genealogy of David and of Christ.
The status of women in ancient society, both east and west, was generally lower than men, and they lived a life dependent on men. The status of women in Israel at the time revealed in the history of the Bible is not much different. I think this is the part that everyone acknowledges even if you do not find the example in the Bible. However, if there is a gentile female name in genealogy of Israel, expecially the genealogy of Jesus Christ, which records only the name of a man, is not it a little wondered?
The main character of such a wonder story is Ruth. Let us find out What the reason why the gentile woman Ruth became a saint of God and could be recorded in the genealogy of Jesus and What the lesson of her act recorded in one part of Bible is given to us who have been chosen as spiritual Israel.
Gentile woman Ruth – who is she?
In BC 1100, there was a great famine in the land of Israel. Elimelech and his wife Naomi moved to Moab with their two sons, Malone and Kishib. Elimelech died in Moab, and the two sons married the woman of Moab, and Malone’s wife was Ruth. Unfortunately, Malone and Kiriath also died early, leaving only Naomi and the two Jabburtites, Ruth and Orbana.
Naomi, who lost her husband in the land of the Gentiles and lived a hard life, wants to return to Bethlehem in her hometown when she lost both of her sons. Naomi had pity on her two daughters-in-law who became the widows and decides to return them to her parents.
Ruth decided to share the destiny of Naomi

Ruth decided to share the destiny of Naomi
They said that they would go with Naomi, but Naomi persuaded her to go back to her family once again worrying about the life of them. Orva then kissed Naomi and returned to her hometown, but Ruth said she would be with Naomi.
Ruth ‘s husband is already dead and has no children, so she has no physical responsibility or duty, but Ruth follows Naomi to the end and cares for her sincerely.
Ruth serves a mother in law, Naomi
Old testament has taught to be good to the weak and not to confiscate.
Naomi and Ruth was too poor widows and they lost everything in alien area so had big trouble in living. Ruth eagerly picked up the left grain to serve old mother in law.
Ruth met Boaz
At that time Boaz who was a relative on Naomi’ husband side from the clan of Elimelech asked who Ruth was.
Boaz heard about Ruth having served a mother in law after her husband’s death and thought Ruth of being good and allowed her to pick up the leftover grain and be blessed.
At mealtime Boaz asked Ruth to come to have some bread and roasted grain, and gather enough grain.
Naomi said to Ruth that boaz was Naomi’s close relative; he is one of her kinsman-redeemers and Naomi let Ruth be Boaz’s wife.
After all Ruth became a wife of Boaz according to the will of God.(Ruth2:19-20, Ruth3:7-12, Ruth4:1-12)
Ruth received the blessing of God

Ruth in the fields,
Merle Hugues, 1876
Ruth was originally a Gentile woman who did not know God but was naturalized to God and served God. How devoted to filial piety of Ruth, who honored his mother-in-law who was alone in accordance with the commandments of God! Ruth was greatly blessed because God was pleased with the deeds of Ruth in obedience to God.
Ruth married Boaz and gave birth to Obed, who became David ‘s grandfather. Not only did her name be honored in the genealogy of David, but the name was written in the genealogy of Jesus who came to this earth as the Savior. How blessed and glorious it is!
The lesson filial piety of Ruth gives us
A .Spirit of Faith
Through the shadow system of the earth, God revealed the system of heaven, an invisible reality. God has revealed the reality of being in the heaven, Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, and how to serve His heavenly parents trough the existence of father and mother who gave birth in the earth, and the example of honoring and serving our parents.
Through the Passover, which you have set up with your holy love and sacrifice, God has grafted us into the true olive tree and made us children of God as like Ruth, was a Gentile, married to the house of God’s people and became a people of God.
God records in the Bible how Ruth serves his mother-in-law and teaches us how we should serve Heavenly Mother who gives us eternal life.
Ruth asked that she be punished if she left her mother besides death. The spirit of Ruth, who will follow her mother to death, is the spirit of faith that we must have as we walk the path of faith today.
B. Joy and happiness for Heavenly mother
God promises us a heavenly enterprise and wants us to have inheritance. When Naomi lost her husband and children in the land of the Gentiles and lived through hard times, Ruth served her with sincerity and offered comfort and joy of continuing her family business.
Our heavenly mother also came to the land of the Gentiles, sent her husband, God the Father, lost many children and is suffering hardships until now. We can fully realize through Ruth’s actions how we can give comfort and joy to our heavenly mother.
The pleasure of Heavenly Mother is to find all the children who will inherit the kingdom of heaven and go back to Heaven quickly. We should realize these and diligently preach the voice of God to save all the seven billion people.
Just as Ruth had served his mother so blessed to leave her name in the genealogy of David and Christ Jesus, Let us serve our Heavenly Mother with all our heart and sincerity, so be recorded our name in genealogy of Heaven as a children of God. I hope our name to shine forever and ever.
