Which Day Should We Go to Church?
We believe in God and hope for the kingdom of heaven, so we go to church to worship Him. But according to the Bible, on which day should we worship God?Today, it is common for many churches around the world to hold worship services on Sunday. But does the Bible teach us to worship on Sunday?
First, let us look at which day our Savior Jesus kept as the day of worship.
Luke 4:16 Jesus went to Nazareth, where He had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day He went into the synagogue, as was His custom.
This shows that Jesus regularly worshiped on the Sabbath.
What about the apostles who followed Jesus?
Acts 17:2 Paul went into the synagogue, and as was his custom, he reasoned with the people from the Scriptures on three Sabbath days.
Acts 18:4 every Sabbath Paul reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade both Jews and Greeks.
These verses show that the apostle Paul also kept the Sabbath and worshiped God on that day.
In this way, the Bible teaches us about worship on the Sabbath. Therefore, we should worship God on the Sabbath day, which is Saturday. Sunday worship cannot be found anywhere in the Bible.
Just as the foundation of our faith comes from the Scriptures, we should follow the teachings of the Bible. This is why God gave us the Bible and the way by which we can inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus kept the Sabbath, the apostles kept the Sabbath, and He taught that it should be observed until the end of the age. Therefore, we should also keep the Sabbath. The World Mission Society Church of God keep the Sabbath holy. We give thanks to Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for enabling us to keep the Sabbath completely.
The Sunday worship service that many people observe today is not found anywhere in the Bible. Instead, the Bible records that Jesus and the apostles kept the Sabbath. We also should follow their example and keep the Sabbath holy. We must never fail to receive salvation by keeping Sunday worship, which is a commandment of men.
