Where is “Zion” according to the Bible? | WMSCOG

There is a prophecy in the Bible that, in the last days, many people will gather in Zion.

So, is Zion simply a place mentioned in the Bible? Or does it refer to the actual Jerusalem in Palestine?

The Bible describes Zion as the place where God dwells and where His people receive the blessing of the forgiveness of sins.

“Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.”

Then, one important question arises:

What are the “festivals” that God speaks of? Are Sunday worship, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Harvest Thanksgiving the feasts that we are supposed to keep in Zion?

These are the feasts established by God and kept in Zion.

Then, where is the place today that keeps God’s feasts and dwells in Zion, just as the Bible prophesied?

It is the World Mission Society Church of God.

Since the Bible teaches that Zion is the place where God’s feasts are kept, we can understand that the World Mission Society Church of God, which keeps God’s feasts according to the Bible without adding to or taking away from His word, is the true Zion.

Rather than simply following religious traditions that many people have come to accept—such as Sunday worship and Christmas—what does the Bible actually say?
