[The Gospel Life of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ]

According to the prophecy of King David, Christ Ahnsahnghong was baptized at the age of 30 in 1948 and began His gospel ministry, shining the light of truth.

Having come to this earth a second time in the flesh to save humanity, Christ Ahnsahnghong did not seek glory or honor. Instead, He lived a life marked by hardship, suffering, and sacrifice.

Born in 1918, Ahnsahnghong endured the oppression and exploitation of the Japanese colonial era. When He began preaching the gospel, South Korea was spiritually devastated, much like a barren land where the gospel had scarcely taken root. The physical circumstances were equally difficult. Having just gained independence from Japanese rule, the nation was plunged into the Korean War in 1950 and became one of the poorest countries in the world. The entire population suffered from extreme poverty and hardship.

[The New Covenant Established Through Love and Devotion]

Just as Jesus Christ, the First Coming Christ, did 2,000 years ago, Christ Ahnsahnghong also carried out difficult and humble work while enduring contempt and persecution, faithfully keeping the laws of life and preaching the gospel.

In an era marked by poverty, hardship, and hunger, Ahnsahnghong worked as a stonemason—a job many people avoided—to set an example of keeping God's commandments, including the Sabbath. The labor was so strenuous that calluses the size of the back of a hand formed on the back of His neck.

The earnings from such hard labor were used to support His evangelistic work and to write publications that revealed the truths of life. As a result, there were many days when He survived on barley porridge or even skipped meals altogether. After completing exhausting days of work, He would spend long nights writing books and pamphlets for the salvation of humanity. Through countless fasting prayers and unwavering devotion, He restored the truths of life contained in the New Covenant.

Four years before completing His prophesied life in the flesh, Ahnsahnghong foretold His departure through the media and entrusted the Church to His disciples.

Following the example of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the World Mission Society Church of God keeps the truths of the New Covenant and continues to deliver the message of salvation through the New Covenant to all 8.2 billion people around the world.
