The Secret of Creation in the Bible: Is God Really Only 'Father'?
All living creatures in the natural world are born through a 'mother'. This is an undeniable law of nature that we see and experience every day. Then, where does the life of our soul come from?
Most Christians naturally call upon 'God the Father' only, but if you read the Bible carefully from the very beginning, you can discover an interesting record that differs from conventional wisdom. Let's look at Genesis, the record of human creation.
"Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness...' So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:26-27)
In this passage, God refers to Himself in the plural 'us', rather than 'I'. And the result of being created exactly in the image of that 'us' is 'male' and 'female'. This is a crucial passage indicating that there exists not only God with a masculine image (Father), but also God with a feminine image.
This concept clearly continues into the New Testament.
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother." (Galatians 4:26)
Think about the Bible's teaching that the earthly family system is a copy and shadow of the heavenly reality. Just as there are physical fathers and mothers who give life on this earth, the explanation that there is not only a Father but also a Mother in the spiritual world is closer to a natural law rather than a forced interpretation.
Furthermore, Revelation, the very last book of the Bible, clearly identifies those who grant eternal life to humanity:
"The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say, 'Come!' Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life." (Revelation 22:17)
In the Bible, the only being who has the authority to give spiritual life (the water of life) is God. From a Christian perspective, the Spirit represents 'God the Father'. Then, who is the 'bride' granting the water of life alongside God the Father? She refers to the 'Mother' of our spirits, whom we confirmed earlier. The Bible consistently testifies to two Gods from the beginning (Genesis) to the end (Revelation).
Because of long-standing traditions, the term 'God the Mother' itself might feel unfamiliar. However, if the biblical text, which is the absolute standard of Christianity, is recorded this way, shouldn't we set aside our stereotypes and discuss the biblical record itself with an open mind?

The idea that God is only Father is a fixed notion that has developed because people have called God “Father” for so long.
The very word “Father” implies the existence of children and also a mother who gave birth to those children. God, who established the family system on this earth, would not be unaware of the existence of a mother while teaching us to call Him “Father.”
The reason God taught us to call Him “Father” is because we also have a Mother, and because we are members of the heavenly family.
This message is truly thought-provoking. Every living creature receives life through a mother, and the Bible reveals that humanity was created in the image of God—male and female. This helps us understand that God’s image is not limited to the image of a Father, but also includes the image of a Mother.
Just as our physical life comes from our earthly parents, the Bible teaches us to look for the source of our eternal spiritual life. I am deeply thankful to God for revealing the existence of God the Mother and for allowing us to become His true children. May we open our hearts, study God’s Word sincerely, and come to know our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.
The Bible testifies about God the Mother from Genesis to Revelation. If we let go of the fixed idea that only God the Father exists, we can discover God the Mother, who is testified to in the Bible and who grants eternal life.
This post really resonates with me, as it reminds us of the spiritual design hidden within nature's laws of life.
When we recognize that the earthly family system is a reflection of heaven, the existence of a spiritual Mother becomes a natural and undeniable truth.
It is incredibly important to set aside traditional preconceptions and approach the Bible with an open mind.
I sincerely hope this true message of salvation, offering the water of life in this age, reaches many more people.
According to the Bible, we can clearly see that God the Mother exists, not only God the Father. I encourage you to set aside your preconceived notions and study the Bible carefully, just as it is written.
The idea of “God the Mother” may sound unfamiliar because of long-standing traditions. But shouldn’t we first look at what the Bible actually says rather than relying on what we have always been taught?
If the Bible calls God’s people children of the Mother above (Galatians 4:26) and reveals the Spirit and the Bride giving the water of life (Revelation 22:17), shouldn’t we examine these verses with an open heart and let the Bible speak for itself?
Truth is not determined by tradition, but by the Word of God. ❤️
I warmly invite you to open the Bible with an open heart and discover what God Himself has revealed about our Heavenly Mother.
I’m grateful that we have our Mother of our souls. Through the teachings of God the Mother, I can live with hope for a heaven without pain or sorrow. I hope that we can all enter together into that heavenly kingdom where God the Mother is with us, not a heaven where only God the Father is. 🙏
